I picked Macculum because of the severity of the break. Where both are gruesome, and career ending. McCallum nearly lost his leg due to the nerve and arterial damage casued by it.
I will have to look at the Bryant Young injury.

Damn before seeing both videos  would have voted Theismann, but man after looking at that Napoleon hit I vote him. Ouch  :o

Between the two choices, it's MacCallum.  Not even close.  When Theismann got hurt you cringed, but at least you know "well, he broke his leg".  With MaCallum, you didn't know how much he broke/tore/shredded, etc.  I heard he was minutes away from losing his leg.

Second worst sports injury I've seen (among the 4 major sports), trailing only a certain Western NY netminder and memorabilia subject  :uhh

Uh, yeah.............McCallum's injury was the worst of the two.

Legs just aren't supposed to bend that way - EVER.

I'm gonna have to go with Bryant Young since I saw it live on MNF and you could see Norton's helmet from about 10 yards away with a direct path to Young's shin...and as  browns fan you're gonna have to with Freedom Fighter Winslow
