+1.

Tuned out within 5 minutes and listened to Toledo's godawful rock stations instead. If I wanted serious hot stove (or whatever the fvck you call it) NBA shit, Cowdouche and Van Pelt are down the dial. Plus Napear's voice sounds like Mort Goldman from Family Guy.

But hey, compared to some of the hacks they've put on in the past when Rome is gone (Josh Innes, Tony Rizzo, Softy Mahler, Jason Whitlock, etc.) I can handle having only one bad one in a week.

Ughhh, Softy Mahler. By far the worst Rome show ive ever heard. Whats next, Ben Maller?

Haha, you know how awful he is?? I had never heard of him before, and heard him fill in ONCE around 2008... Then when he was announced as a fill in again around 2011, I IMMEDIATELY cringed, remembering him as the most boring guest host ever. Talk about making a lasting first impression!! :)

It wasn't as bad as every time the Sklar Bros self gloss, finish each others sentences, play crappy music, and turn the entire show into a 3 hour long infomercial fo their upcoming attempt at finally entertaining someone. That said, Rome had 2 reach pretty deep for this guy. I much rather would listen 2 KB, Stew, a random smackoff perenial top 10 guy, or a best of than listen 2 this guy again. I know I wasn't calling this guy but their HAD to be better calls, texts, or emails for this guy right? If i want serious NBA talk i go 2 the basketball jones or SVP, not a guy this boring. I feel sorry for Sacramento. This guy is on the air 5 hours a day? That's brutal

Yes he is brutally bad. But you act like this is the first time he's guest hosted The Jungle. Almost every week in the past 3 years that Rome is "in the basement" he has Grant Napier hosting a show.

I agree about Napear being horrible, he doesn't bring anything to the table as a guest host. I'd much rather hear Slam Man or KB get an extra day instead of the Sactown clown.

I actually like it when KB guest hosts, he gets the clones involved and takes alot more phone calls than Rome does.
