The obvious answer is the Nets with a 7-55 record.
Although the Knicks are starting to give them a run for their money. Last night the Knicks were not only blown out by the Nets for the second time this season, ...they set an NBA record doing it.
The Knicks shot 18 three point field goals and connected on
not one of them. New York's 0-18 on three point attempts is the worst display of three point shooting in NBA history.
Knicks have only won two out of their past fourteen games, while the Nets have won two of the past five.
The sad thing is that the Nets are actually trying to have a decent season by having the same team intact over the past few years. After the J-Kidd, K-Mart, R-Jeff and Vince Carter years, they have gone in the rebuilding direction but have kept the main five intact of Yi Jianlian, Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Josh Boone and Chirs Douglas-Roberts. Their record might not reflect it but they show more signs of having a promising future than the Knicks do ...unless the Knicks sign LeBron or Wade.
The Knicks are making no attempt to win and making a joke of the NBA by getting rid of any team chemistry by having mid season fire sales the last two years. We know its an attempt to lure LeBron to play in New York ...but what does Dolan and Walsh say to the New York fans if it was all for nothing? New York management is a joke and should be consider a crime on the professional level. (Dolan for the most part since he has resided over all of it) They are running this franchise worse than Ford and Millen ever ran theirs. They go out and spend all this money on players like Stephon Maurbury, Eddie Curry, Steve Francis, Larry Hughes, Penny Hardaway and a Tracy McGrady (even though it was to clear the money off the books at years end). All of these players other teams are trying desperately to get rid of. They make it a circus by hiring Isiah Thomas to run the operation, right after running one of the best coaches in the history of Basketball out of town in Larry Brown.
Either way both of these teams are terrible, and have given the NBA a reason to consider contraction with the ticket sales.
Is it safe to say LeBron is a lock to resign in Cleveland this summer
