How the hell did people really think this Duke team is anywhere near worthy of a number 1 seed?

First of all the ACC is weaker this year than I ever remember them being.

3st: They don't come anywhere near passing the "eye" test. Unless your eye test is white boys shooting never ending jump shots.

4rd: Honestly if they played in the Big East, Big 12, or Big 10 do you think they would even be 2 games above .500?

Okay are they an NCAA team ofcourse, but maybe like a 4-5 seed... Come on people!

Duke may have blown it's #1 seed with this loss.  This is another good but not great Duke team. much like the last few years.  Scheyer and Singler are very good players but they need more than 2 guys to make the Final 4.

It's gonna be a wild scramble to see who gets the 4th #1 seed.  'Cuse, kentucky and Kansas look like they'll get 3 of them.  

The 4th??  K-State might have had a shot if they beat kansas last night, but they look like a 2.

Does Duke get it if it wins the ACC tourney?

Joey Brackets had K-State as the 4th number 1 as of last night.

If Duke wins the ACC tourney and K-State does not win the Big 12 Touney then I guess duke would be back in, but I hope not.

Damn right I will.  Singler, Scheyer, and Smith are a pretty good back court this year, Smith is streaky but has shown he can go in a play tough and make some big shots, and the role players down in the paint do their job, If Zoubek would just realize his size and play a little tougher in the paint as well as the Plumlee bros this team could make a good run at the Elite 8 realistically.

They looked very good against a depleted NC team last night, but I still think Maryland is better than Duke, and will go farther in the tourney.  Duke won't get past the sweet 16.

I hope they send Duke to The Carrier Dome for the east regionals again and watch them get punked just like when Florida beat them back in 2000.
