I haven't seen them play at all this year. They are ranked 3rd in the country. Is this hype?

They are good but the rest of that conference makes you want to jump off a cliff. Duke is also in the same postion with a rare off year for the ACC.

 uhh

Purdue
Ohio State
Michigan State
Wisconsin
Illinois

What part of that makes you want to jump off a cliff?

Northwestern and Minnesota aren't out if it either.

I could never get into The Big Ten in any sport. There's just something about it that makes me feel that The Big 10 is boring.

Maybe because you're not a fan?

Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin are all legit. I even think Illinois is pretty good this year. Every conference has bottomfeeders. Look at the Big East. Heralded conference but even they have shitty DePaul. And the SEC has LSU who hasn't even won a conference game all year. The thing that kills the Big 10 historically is the out-of-conference record. However, the Big 10 gets a pass from me this year seeing as they won the ACC/Big Ten Challenge for the first time ever.

I've seen them on TV a few times, they look really good. Solid guard play, half decent big men, and Matt Painter has done a great coaching job. They'll be heard from in the tournament.

Hate to see a team's best player go down with an injury like that, it would have been nice to see how far they could have gone if they had everyone healthy.

good team, will make noise, but look for an early exit. any team with a solid frontcourt can give them trouble. not the deepest bench either. I wouldn't be shocked to see them out after the elite 8, but i also wouldn't be surprised with a final 4 and a run at the championship game. a very volatile team though, easily the strongest the big10 has to offer this year
