Barry admitted that the culture of losing in the Lions' organization was too much to deal with even though he said that he could still play. He explained that it robbed him of his competitive spirit, and he saw no reason to believe things were going to improve. He also stated that there were tears in his eyes as the Lions lost the final game of his career the season before he left, because he knew in his heart he was never going to play another NFL game. This came from the guy that was there through all of the 90's this man would now more then me or you so this arguement is over. The greatest lions player of all time retireed early because he was tired of lossing convo over

Did he play a game in the 1999 season? His last game was played in December of 1998.

You must be a WPG trool. Its not possible to misspell that many words.

Enough of the past.....

this draft will be interesting....

The Lions need to stay where they are at and can still get some help at RB.  Both LT and Sproles will be gone from the Bolts and the Jets are going to release Thomas Jones.  Even in the uncapped year the Lions should be able to get some help.

I say mortgage the farm and go get Darin Sproles....

Isn't Sproles just a much smaller & slightly quicker version of Kevin Smith?

Probly a bit more elusive.  Regardless, that line still needs to be shored up if any RB (or a particular franchise QB) is gonna have a chance to succeed...

Every passing day the rumors get a little more plentiful that STL is set on Bradford. Looks like DET might land Suh after all. After yesterday's combine workout, you have to be pumped for that Lions fans.

I am pumped up for either McCoy or Suh.  2 different defensive players that get after the QB.

Anything should be able to help that god awful Detroit Lions' defense.

Hey Steve....I think if the have a shot at both they should take the one they can get signed quickly and in camp. Suh probably is the better choice, but what f*cking good will he be if he holds out looking for the perfect contract. Hopefully all that is worked out prior to the draft.
