With most Draft experts projecting Ndamukong Suh - DT Nebraska going first overall to the Rams ...I left him out.

Some are saying its not a done deal, and don't be surprised to see the Rams go for Jimmy Clausen or Sam Bradford #1 overall. I won't hold my breath.

Either way this team could use many more picks than just seven in the draft.

If Suh is gone after the first pick, as much as I would like to see the Lions trade for more picks. ...You can't pass on a player like Eric Berry.
Even with Delmas securing the SS roll, Berry would fit just fine as a Weak side (Free) safety.

Get this mess out of my thread shithead.

BTW, Cowboys will be kicking themselves for gift wrapping three top 100 picks for Roy E. "Fail" Williams for years to come. Those picks might have put them over the top for this weekend at Minnesota. Now we will all watch them get their asses kicked by the Favres.  Popcorn :happy

Eric Berry.....for god sakes you have Marvin White as a DB, he sucked for Cincy. Suh & Berry I think are solid low risk picks......Clausen & Bradford not so much.

Russell Okung. You have your franchise QB, franchise WR, and a better than average RB. You need to solidify your O-line by picking up a franchise LT. Just my opinion.

On that note, would anyone be shocked if they went completely Lions and took Tebow and converted him to a FB?  uhh

I see no wide receivers or quarter backs on this list... this is not an official list then!

yeah, take a safety over another O-Lineman and have fun watching Calvin Johnson getting 4 targets from Culpepper after Stafford is done in October again.

O-Line, nothing else there. In fact, they could probably trade down and still get another O-Line dude.

It will probably be Gerald McCoy.  But the local honks here are now really starting to think that the Rams will take a QB first.  So if that is the case who knows...

What about Carlos Dunlap from Florida that got the DUI?  He seemed to get a lot of run before he got in trouble.

Hes more of a late first rounder.

I agree with the necessity for an offensive line.

Its just hard IMO to pass on a franchise changing player (like a Suh or Berry) when you have the chance to get them.

Dont you feel the need to protect the franchise changing player that you already have? Calvin Johnson is useless if Stafford is on his back.

Yes I agree. Still, if you have the chance at a Berry or Suh. You take one of the two because you need those positions anyways ...and take an O-lineman with your next pick (which would be the 34th pick overall).

True though that is, the O-Line played better this year.  Yes, I know, that's not saying much.  The running game was shit, though, which was a major factor.  Smith hasn't shown consistency, and it hurt.  Fact is, this team has neglected its defense for waaaaaaaay too long.  We really need a guy on the line that's going to run-stop and give the secondary a chance to make plays.  If Suh is that guy, you gotta get him.  If he's not there, it's hard to ignore Berry, but the need remains to have consistency on the lines and a franchise o-lineman that doesn't suck for once.  If none of the O-linemen measure up to a #2 pick level and St. Louis takes Suh, then either take Berry and run, or trade down.  Hell, they could probably take him then trade him.  But I worry about Mayhew playing Madden draft with the supposed "BPA" strategy.  That has the potential to be a big huge stack of fail.
