Question: the NJ Nets' strategy this year is:
Clear up enough cap room so they can shovel the money at Lebron next year - 3 (14.3%)
Be so goddamned awful that they can offer Lebron the chance to meet the #1 Draft pick next year - 7 (33.3%)
Bacon - 11 (52.4%)

Wizards will get the #1 pick.

If we can either rig the lottery or D. Stern fixes it for us. Kool Aid uhh
They owe the Wizards the #1 pick after screwing it up last year. Blake Griffin should be on the DC sidlines in a suit as we speak.

 LOL

That brings up the question, who's the best player in college basketball right now for the Wiz to draft in June? (should they get the 1st pick)

I say Cousins, after depleting their front court, they will need a good big. Besides Arenas will be back next year to run the point.  Angry

Wall
Cousins
Turner

They will go 1,2,3 in no particular order. More than likely Wall #1.

Hoping teh Pistons can land a top 3 pick. After those three it falls off quite a bit.

Half the reports I've heard are that there is no way Gunbert comes back and half say he'll be back because they won't be able to void his ass. In any case I hope we can get Wall or Cousins. Blache & Thornton look like a pretty good duo so we might be okay with big men.

Imagine if the Nets don't win the lottery and end up drafting 3rd or 4th. LOL

I wouldn't be surprised to see Turner go #1 overall the way hes been playing. He looks like a young T-mac.

So he's gonna have a bloated contract, get traded a bunch and never get out of the first round of the playoffs?

Add Boston to teh short list of five or six teams that have lost to New Jersey.

Boston happens to be teh only one of those teams who are in the playoff race.
